Recordings
WHILST live performance is my lifeblood, it is also incredibly satisfying, when my schedule permits, to record music in the studio where the freedom to re-take again and again (and again . . . and again) allows one to capture something much closer to the ideal than the concert platform generally allows. Even so, I believe in keeping recording as live as possible and avoid any editing whatsoever. So what you hear is pure, unadulterated performance (even if it is Take 22!). I have a number of ongoing recording projects, including the Bach suites and other solo repertoire, some duo sonatas and lighter repertoire and ventures into multi-tracking, including a recording of Klengel’s Hymnus for 12 cellos, performed entirely by me!
